Grow up Mark... Not only was your previous message not even warranting an off-topic
posting but the reply you've just posted wasn't even a reply to a list message.
Can someone of authority draft a topic spec for the offtopic group - something along
the
lines of:
"containing references to one of the following
1. references to the software lifecycle.
or
2. Computer applications in business or research.
or
3. Technology issues with potential impact on the computer industry.
or
4. Requests for assistance in one of these areas including recruitment.
excluding references to these areas where that reference is solely for the purpose of
humour."
That should keep it open while having at a tenuous link to something that might affect
every list member.
Pout all you like Mark, this isn't your personal forum - if you want proof ask for a
vote,
I think the fact that several people have already complained might have answered your
question.
IMHO Off-topic is still supposed to be a productive list.
