Well, there was one (in Mark's FAQ I think!), something like:

Delphi: Delphi or Delphi-programming-related questions only, could cover
stuff like
"I'm using Interbase/Oracle/etc thru the BDE, and....."

Offtopic: pretty much anything else relating to the development of
software and the
stuff that surrounds it, eg: legal issues (anyone else come accross this
clause...),
ERD tools, CASE tools, RDMBS stuff, etc etc etc. Not for jokes, lists of
CD's, etc,
which have no relationship to developing (except that they may make it
nicer to do
ones job)

Oh, and binaries, aside from Outlook attachments (switch them off if you
can, its not
always possible), should not be posted under any circumstances. Hit
ftp.delphi.org.nz,
upload the file and post a like to it. Ot send it directly to whoever
asked for it.

Hope that clears it up a bit.

More canned due to lack of interest - newbies can ask questions on the
main list if they like,
but if there is a newbie question list, its would most likely only be
newbies on it,
which kinda kills the point of them getting help.....

Nic.
