Is this the first time you have used 95 for this app? DOS Apps can't
directly access the com ports under 95, or NT. Some DOS apps are ok
assuming you communicate via the DOS supported interupts, but if you
directly access the ports using low level port io, youre out of luck.
Perhaps the old COM version used a different way to access the com port-
ie via DOS interupts rather than direct access?
