Hi all...Well as promised, here is anupdate on my wee box to controll stuff
from my PC.

Well I had a success...finally...although I did have a bit of a problem when
it came to writing a Delphi app.
The problem was, of course, I use NT, and I was scared off by what a lot of
people on the net said, i.e. that you have to write a device driver etc. for
it to run under NT.

I did find a cool control called TVicPort which actually lets you write and
read from a specific PIN on your DB-25....which I guess is just an
address...but it pretty cool all the same.

Basically takes one line of code to set the port high, or one line to set it
low....really cool.

BUT...can anyone point me in the direction of how to write to PIN 2 of my
DB-25 via just plain code? i.e. not having to use this control, as its
shareware. I am assuming it would be ASM but I would also like to read to
another PIN too, say PIN 9.

Do I REALLY need to have a device driver ??

Thanks, Jeremy Coulter
