Pity MS didnt eat some humble pie and buy the SOM that IBM used in OS2 - it
was/is brilliant, although OS2 is flawed as well. The combined effort OS
would have made the world a lot nicer place to live in (well for programmers
anyway).
Glad sanity has prevailed in the Lowman household!
