Depending on volume, modems are not a good idea. Look at Dialogic
boards or similar if you are serious.

Yes - dialing modems is not too hard (check components on)- passing the
fax itself is more difficult as you will need the right TIFF format
unless you are sending plain text only.

You could try looking for a e-mail -> fax gateway on the net but most
are pretty limited (ie text-only).
I wish there was a decent commerical service that handled HTML/e-mail ->
fax, as not everybody wants to dick around with fax modems & fax
machines are not going away overnight.
