They already have the headaches in preparation...
Listening to Danny Thorpe's talk on interfaces at BorCon helped me realise
that they have given, and still are obviously, serious thought to the
*language feature* that is interfaces. To the point where it seems likely
that IUnknown, which is perceived as tied to COM because of addref etc, will
become com specific and the language will have a - perhaps IJane (as in Me
Tarzan but not I Am Weasel) to emphasise the difference and avoiding having
to stub out the com stuff where it is not required.
Also there a very alive debate on MI - as in Multiple Interfaces (in an
interface) not Multiple Inheritance - to add power to the language.
A good a advertisement for going to BorCon2000 me thinks.

I think a discussion and some example material of interfaces would be an
ideal topic.
This is an area likely to give borland some serious future headaches as
interfaces are
really the ideal way to go but present issues around reimplementation (a
total redesign)
of the VCL.
For those that have worked through a couple of borlands examples on
interfaces and
want to experiment with delegation of interfaces there was an article on
www.esperanto.org.nz
which covered changing the way QueryInterface works.
