I have RC3 on my home PC - works like a dream - everything works with it
that worked with NT4, except the optical out port on my sound card
(which is coming as soon as the manif. gets the reference driver source,
I'm told. All other sound stuff works fine).
Win98 (WDM) drivers work for everything bar video cards (ie, works for
Creative DVD decoder), cd writing works (thanks people - got an HP 8200i
- lovely piece of equipment!) etc.
You just have to read the NG's and make sure you get the right versions
of stuff (eg, EasyCD, dont install DirectCD etc)
My laptop is next, as soon as I establish that Inprise Application
Server 4 works (Delphi 5, JBuilder 3 and JBuilder 3 for Solaris all work
just fine).
All in all, I'm impressed. I finally get to use my USB ports! (and the
USB MS optical mouse I bought)
