Not as far as I know. JBuilder is the most popular Java tool around,
C++Builder has very little market share, and Delphi has a BIG share, tho I
dont have figures.

The OO features in VB are minimal and really not exceptionally usefull, if
you are into programming in a _really_ OO manner.

I dunno about the south island, but AFAIK:
1) Delphi is still strong.
2) Java is hitting paydirt in the UK and US, like $150/hr or #70/hr for EJB
people.
3) VB is not gaining, but its also not losing.
