hell,I forgot to add: NEVER EVER EVER EVER upgrade from anything to windows
2000 - _always_ install clean. It will work, but give it about 3-6 weeks,
and the system is crashing.

except the quality of the user expereince with Linux is _very_ low, and the
GUI (Xwindows) is about the worst designed and implemented piece of crap
imaginable.
