Not suggesting that you do anything illegal...
I suspected that a similar situation was going to happen to me, when I
wrote a CPM clone for a Japanese company. So I put in my name in plain
text, which they would remove before reassembling and distributing the
software. But I also had an easter egg.. the name had not been invented
then. When you pressed any 3 keys simultaneously it popped up with the
pronouncement that the software was stolen from me and that I was going
to sue the buyer. They did not pay me as agreed. Later the egg popped
and destroyed their major sale... I had to be satisfied with that.
