Guys, Thanks for your feedback, here are some explanatory notes
1/ Snappiness = IFRAMES I am calling this a Web App not a web site, on the basis that it is totally ajaxed and dynamic The reason it is "snappy" is that a menu click alters the visibilty of a DIV (with an iframe embedded) ie it is a local action, I have work to still do here as I don't share property data between frames (which is next) so that if you alter a Qty on one frame it should be updated on another without a refresh I understtad the comments about "FRAMES = BAD" but since this is a WebApp the whole bookmarking/back/forward think which really applies to a doc paradigm is not relevant AFAIAC 2/ Scrollbars/Backgrounds I develop in Moz but Test in IE, the white back flash is an IE CSS thing i haven't fixed yet, I try to use the whole Viewport (again an app like) but the cross browser support is a pain, I'm trying to get rid of the browser scrollbar but its a thankless task 3/ Home page Because we have some 2500 products (and building) the home page is keyword driven so that we can customise it from the source URL, the default is "STEEL SCREW", which is why you get the screw page Thanks Again and I'll let you know when it needs another hammering N _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group Offtopic mailing list Post: [email protected] Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/offtopic Unsubscribe: send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with Subject: unsubscribe
