?BlankI know a lot of others use Virtual Machines for a development environment, I am using a VMWare workstation V6 with D2007 and XP under Windows 7 32bit, and while it runs OK, it looks to often be running out of resources.
At times, and always when pausing and restarting the VM, the hard disk goes completely berserk and locks the entire PC for about 5 minutes on resume and suspend of the virtual PC. Resource Monitor shows the VMWare hard disk file writing about 1MB/sec for 5 mins, and a similar traffic in Windows 7 System Volume information. Is there anything I can tune to stop this? It is driving me totally nuts! John
