Hi,
there is some tcp/ip filtering that may have been tweaked
Check TCP/IP properties->Advanced Button->Options Tab->TCP/IP Filtering on the lan connection that you are having problems with

Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] Win2K issue

Hi All.
We have a product that we have up until today installed mainly on XP or Win2K3 machines, and its fine.
Its a wee app. that uses UDP on 2 ports, and listens to each port on different threads.

When we installed it today on a Win2K server machine, it wont/seems not to, receive any packets on these ports. I am kinda guessing here as I dont have a Win2K machine or virtual machine that I can load delphi onto to check the code.

I do however have a Win2K server machine thats a server and dont want to put Delphi on to, and when I ran the exe on it, I get that same response, or lack of it.

Win2K doesnt have a fire wall, so I can kinda perplexed why the app. is not working.
The ports are open on my app, and it IS listening.

I wondered if anyone had any bright ideas?

Thanks, jeremy
