As it is stored in the database we'd have to delete it.  However, if the 
ARC community is OK with that, we could certainly give it serious 
consideration.  We'd clearly want to test this out first before doing it 
on the live site and we'd need to do some basic housekeeping around a 
change of this magnitude (backups etc), so it might take a few days to 
get this.  I can't make any firm commitments at this point, but we can 
certainly check it out.

So, can the ARC community confirm that they'd be OK with us deleting the 
existing caselog subtree of their area of the site?  Then we could 
remove the redirect and all the remaining ARC pages could be made 
available.  When the new archive becomes available, it can then be 
linked to from the existing ARC pages.

I believe that's already been done.
