Just so I understand correctly, you're asking the ARC "community" if they'd be OK with getting some of their site back vs. none? As near as I can tell, the core contributors, whom are all internal folks by definition, still have internal mechanisms to get at materials and conduct business. It's the external folks that have been _completely_ cut off from effectively contributing[1]. As an external contributor who has no membership nor voting status in any quorum community, I can only call upon your good nature to restore as much of the site as is possible without jeopardizing the rest of the portal. Please consider my +.1. I will also humbly ask that the website community please, please, please involve the community before rendering such sweeping changes in the future. [1] I suspect this still affects project work within Sun, regardless, and if true, is costing someone, somewhere $ > 0.
