Just to clarify, the previous deal that Zanders did with AT&T gave Sun 
many of the rights, I believe, but (once again) IANAL. The SCO deal is 
more closely related to Novell, who I think holds the UNIX name 
possibly???? But somehow I seem to think SCO is somehow in bed with 
Novell, but I am not sure what happened to SCO, I thik they shrivelled up 
and died...:-/

Either way, Sun does own rights to the UNIX name, and has continued to 
certify it against the POSIX extentions, so it is UNIX for the most part, 
and again why OpenUNIX makes sense. It also implies that it is an open and 
free version in much the same way, <cough> OpenSolaris does.:-/
