I certainly spend more than 1hr/week just reading all of the OpenSolaris mailing lists. =) > From your perspective, what expectations /should/ we have in > this area? Judging from my experiences with Apache, each Director probably spends 5hrs/wk at an absolute minimum. Some of us go substantially higher - but Apache is a far larger beast than OpenSolaris; but we're also a lot more mature and stable than OpenSolaris - so there's a tradeoff there as OpenSolaris needs to mature and find itself. So, I think if someone can't commit 5hrs/wk at a minimum, they probably won't have a realistic chance to be able to get the job done. If you show up at a meeting unprepared or not having done your due diligence, it shows. We are very blessed in Apache to have 9 folks who do the job in an incredible manner. -- justin
