(Feeling prompted by some contemplation about this and a couple chats
I've had with a other community members recently...)

Justin, Steve, Roy --

Please help slay a huge, and in my opinion, counter-productive
ambiguity. In specific, the meaning behind your usage of term "MySQL
model" (also expressed as "the governing style of MySQL").

What do you mean, specifically? I think (but I'm not sure) that you're
generalizing the label "MySQL model" to mean one of the lowest of all
company-sponsored opensource styles when it comes to community
participation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

What I'm getting at is that I strongly believe we are still on a
course to be something higher (much higher, in my opinion) than one of
the lowest of community participation models.

Eric
