There is nothing (IMO) that prevents us from evolving IPS to meet those future needs. Bluntly, if we need to change the repos and IPS, we do so (#include ARC etc), and, by doing so, the definition of what it means to be OpenSolaris changes along with it. -John (whew, a short email for once :-)
