Opensolaris.org needs to be open and inviting to all related
opensource projects IMHO - provided that the project shares the
opensolaris.org values (engineering excellence, blah, blah).
Anything that "forces" opensource projects to look/go elsewhere is
ultimately Bad News for opensolaris.org. The ultimate expression of
this would be that the opensolaris.org (site) would degenerate into a
bunch of "pointers" (URLs) to a bunch of meaningless URLs - which
would diminish the visibility and importance of opensolaris.org - even
as a "brand". [pardon the use of a marketing term]

A framework to support this type of project that might work well would
be .... but wait .... there is already a well known framework that is
widely recognized and successful: the Apache Incubator - see
http://incubator.apache.org/. I would suggest that emulating this
framework would be a great solution to transition these types of
projects into the OpenSolaris.Org umbrella.
