Internally, Sun is going to have to define a process for taking external components and integrating them into its distro. Right now Package RTI fills that need. It isn't clear to me that such will work going forward, because the package RTI process assumes that the person committing the code in the first place has the ability to request integration into WOS. Going forward, that won't hold true for the community. But this is a Sun problem, and not an OpenSolaris problem. -- Garrett
