First, thanks for tearing off some of the cc's so we are not SPAM'ing all the various lists with garbage. There seems to be some misunderstanding on Joerg's part about ARC and/or how the ARC meetings work. I would suggest he sit in on some to see how they work and/or how a probablem could exists such as his speculative comment on a specific team derailing an effort. And what is odd is that the ARC is the one process opened up to the outside world, so I'm not sure what Joerg is really complaining about, but it's only wasting time for him that could be spent in getting his case together so he could prepare and submit it, as Roland Mainz did with ksh93. This all seems akin to going to the park and screaming for everyone to take their ugly kids home from the park. None of the parents will listen to you as most don't believe their child is ugly, so it gets no response from any of the parents in the park, who know it couldn't be their child. I think we have some simularities in this analogy. -- Alan DuBoff - Solaris x86 IHV/OEM Group
