Unless there are objects from other board members I'll figure that the 14 day public comment period, in accordance with Section 7.4 of the Constitution, commenced on the 1/16/08 submission in non-editable form to the OGB-Discuss list. That would put this proposal on the agenda for the OGB Con-Call on 01/30/08. The proposal currently fulfills all requirements stipulated by Section 7.4. In its current form I'd be honored to sponsor the motion. For on lookers, the only portion of his submission that is relevant to this board is the actual "Proposal" section. His rationale gives some insight into where this might go long term but that is up to the Core Contribs that make up the CG should it be approved. Therefore, discussion about development process is irrelevant to this motion proceeding. benr.
