Following up on what Simon said, I noticed that when morphing "simon's" and "plocher's" drafts together, we failed to include my original wording on this topic: "via email discussion and voting on the public OGB-discuss alias" I believe that this was an oversight and not intentional, and so I would like to use it as an excuse to test out the email voting mechanism itself. Proposal: Explicitly add the requirement for public discussion and voting to OGB/2008/003 [1], giving The OGB RESOLVES that it shall interpret section 6.9 of the Constitution to permit conduct via e-mail _ON THE PUBLIC OGB-DISCUSS ALIAS_ of business requiring consensus. Unless there is a need for discussion, we can proceed to a vote. -John ________ [1] http://www.genunix.org/wiki/index.php/OGB_2008/003
