IM(ns)HO, it would be unfortunate if Nevada ever diverged from SX, since SX is simply Nevada plus Sun's special sauce. Yes, Sun could choose to fork Nevada for use in SX; No, I don't believe it would be a good idea - at least not for any non-trivial differences. For all intents and purposes, what goes into Nevada also goes into SX. The only real difference today between a build of the mercurial gate and SX is the addition of a bunch of additional bits in SX. Now, if you are saying that random people don't have a say into how the SX distro is built by Sun, then duh, you're right. I wouldn't expect otherwise. Would you? -John
