I agree completely. Without the employment of a moderator (very short-straw 
job, and not very "open"), we are pretty 
much stuck with the current situation; and the encumbent S/N ratio as you quite 
rightly say. Its a shame, and even 
though people like Ian Collins do try valiantly to point people to the correct 
place to search for the solution to 
non-OpenSolaris problems, we certainly cannot behove upon him/them to hoover up 
all the irrelevancies that regularly appear.

I wish that I had a good suggestion, but all I can currently come up with is 
"ahh well...". If we close down 
osol-discuss, people will just post their S10 questions to tools-linking, or 
somewhere equally relevant in the faint 
hope that someone will be listening.
