Before I joined the OGB I hoped that we would be more proactive at both reaching out to our own community, and extending to other open source communities. As such, our primary goal would be to encourage the growth of our community and to make sure it has the resources it needs, when it needs them. That vision is obviously quite different to where we are today, and it's fair to say that each one of us has a very different idea of the role of the OGB. Leadership, in my book, needs to be more than just approving community group proposals, or otherwise, that is reflective of the stand off body that the OGB has been this year. I'm just not quite certain we have enough of a combined vision to be able to execute on anything else, so it may be better pushing this leadership out to the community instead. Glynn
