As was I, although I'm disturbed to see additional evidence that this
is an item appearing on anyone's schedule or being monitored by
program managers.

But, it's also partly my fault for not having written up an
alternative process for people in this situation.  So how about this?
Ray, you seem to consider your "PMT" to be significant stakeholders in
this process.  So please invite them to join this discussion and
explain to us what they think about this proposal in the context of
the OpenSolaris Community, and why they feel it's important.  No one
gets to hide behind a corporate firewall and play puppeteer.
