Despite Mr. Fielding's assertions to the contrary, nothing gives SMI the right to "shut down the constitution" at all. It could at any time take a private fork in which its own employees would do our work, and as copyright holder would not be obligated to provide the subsequent results under any particular license terms. Whether that would be a mortal blow to the Community is a matter of opinion. But the OGB, the Groups, and the rest of the abstract framework, as well as the last common source code, would still exist as they do today minus the participation of SMI employees to the extent permitted by our respective local law. -- Keith M Wesolowski "Sir, we're surrounded!"
