We require our authors to both list and mark with yellow highlight in the manuscript all uses of non-SRD material (even if it from our own stuff liek Relics and Rituals or Tome of Horrors). That list is in a seperate file called "legal" that is turned in with the final draft. If that isnt done, it goes back to the author for revision. It is the safest way to both train your authors and keep mistakes to a minimum. I then make sure the proper section 15 stuff is put into our product.
