From: "Faustus von Goethe" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Want a military combat game in a modern setting under the "no trademarks" > OGL - just don't use "Harrier" Jets, "Mossberg" Shotguns, "Colt" Pistols, - > Oh & no "Jeeps", "Huey" Helicopters, "Sikorski" Helicopters, > "Rimsey-Korsakov" Firearms, "MAG" Firearms or Knives, ... etc. FWIW; when we were preparing to do the Arms & Equipment guide for Dark Matter, we were contacted by some of those companies and told in no uncertain terms not to use their trademarks in our game products. As a result, D*M: AE has >no< real world arms manufacturer trademarks in it. The proposed addition to the OGL is not the controlling authority in regards to using trademarks incidentally in the text of your products - the trademark laws are.
