<< So, uh, Martin: how much IS that comic book habit of yours? *grin*

(I pretty religiously read at least 10 to 15 titles a month, and the actual
influx of matrials in the household has GOT to be 100-200 bucks a month.
Don't feel too bad.) >>

Let's just say that we could form a support group. I can't judge the comic
numbers exactly, because I buy my games supplies AND my paperback science
fiction all at the same store. Suffice it to say that I read about 75% of
the DCU titles (the Super books, the Bat books, the JLA books, the JSA
books, the Alan Moore books, the Flash books, the Titans books, a few
others), a small range of independents, and the occasional Marvel title.

<< I suspect I'll end up in the same boat money-wise . . . even if I realize
a
profit, it's going to be well below what a my 'lil dotcom is shelling out.
But what the hell, right? We're doing this because we LIKE to game . . . >>

Exactly. My Alternity playtest credits were a dream come true for me, a
prize beyond measure. Then my Alternity adventure for RPGA-AG topped those.
If I do a D20 work, it will be because I see D20 as the chance to reach an
audience I could otherwise never reach.
