No It was on CNN. They said the designer won his suit because the WWF used
his game mechanics. It's been several weeks (9 or 10) they might still have
it in the archives.

But they CAN be patented -- which is what WOTC did w/Magic. You can also
run into trademark issues if your 'trade dress' is too similair to a
competing product.
Do you have an URL for the suit? And did they LOSE, or did they just
sign a settlement?
