Personal preference.  That's the *real* reason - and the one that nobody can 
really ever refute.  The OGL is a novelty.  I's new, and its stable (or 
hopefully it will be).  And some people are always going to prefer to give 
up flexibility to gain a measure of structure and order.

I can't really disagree with this, because it is a matter of opinion.
