I wanted to buy the universal game "SOL". I called my FLGS.

"We don't carry that."

"I know, but I was hoping you could special-order it for me."

"It's out of print."

"Odd. Their web site was updated just two weeks ago and says it is in
print, with a new supplement due out soon."

"None of our dsitributors carry it."

"Really? Their website says Berkely West carries it...since you're in
San Francisco, don't you use them as a distributor?"

"Uhm...whatever. I'll order it. Or something."

Suffice it to say, I ended up buying it at Gencon this year.
