Let us consider the following: a)I take all the 'open' CC content -- stats and combat info -- and put it on a web site. I then come up with original names and write descriptive text of my own. b)I place the entirety of the above under the OGL and call it 'The Critter Compendium'. c)I then write another page -- NOT under the OGL, and thus, not bound by its restrictions, that lists the monsters in the Critter Compendium and my 'suggested equivalent' monsters in the Creature Collection -- just in case 'Truesilver Golem' or 'Holy Alligator' wasn't obvious enough. I place this page under the GDL or the like. I do not think I would violate either the OGL or copyright law in so doing. I'm not sure it's worth the bother, though. ------------- For more information, please link to www.opengamingfoundation.org
