Meaning no disrespect to your own efforts, which I expect to be diligent and
honest, but... How will having things in your database prevent anyone else
from deciding to put it in their database, with less diligence and less
respect for the original creators. ESPECIALLY if your database is seen as
"weak" because it doesn't have the PI, people who don't care much about IP
will favor the other database.

This is not meant to disparage your database, just this one particular
argument for your database. If a "knock off" database is inevitable, I don't
think your database makes it very evitable.
