[Open_Gaming] What is a Work?

We keep using the term 'work' to refer to an entity that contains OGC, but
my layman's brain is having a hard time finding the sections in the OGL that
address what exactly constitutes a 'work' as we have been using it.  Does it
have some clear definition that is it implied by some legal phrase, or is it
something that is defined so broadly that it can be construed to mean almost
anything?
