I habitually call D&D 3rd Edition "Third Edition." I know more folks who do
the same. As the newcomers meet the veterans, they may pick it up. At the very
least they'll recognize that people call it that. So, using the expression
"third edition" on the S&S products may not be a schtick that'll work forever,
but I think it's a better idea than you may be fearing, Mr. Wieck. I think the
connection in the public's head will certainly last long enough for S&S to get
brand recognition first. : )
