Although I don't "know", I agree. I think that means that you won't be able
to use Githyanki etc. as they are not found in the MM and thus are not is
the SRD. Don't be cofused or send a lecturing reply. The ONLY fair use
monsters are in the SRD. They just happen to be the same as the monsters in
the MM. Anything extra is PI and is not open.

My opinion of that statement is this: It includes those that are not product
identity, for instance those that are in the Monsters of Fauren <Sp!> and
etc.

Got my D20 Dragon mag yesterday. First off - I
loved it.

Secondly, a question -

On page 20, in the "What the Heck is a D20 system"
article by Ryan, he says:
"When complete, the System Reference Document will
include the core rules from the new edition of
Dungeons and Dragons, including all the basic
rules, plus most of the monsters, magic items, and
spells from the core books."

Ok, that word MOST scares me. What the heck does
that mean? Are there, in fact, monsters from the
MM that are not in the SRD? Magic items? I had
assumed that all monsters from the MM were in the
SRD. Same with magic items. Am I mistaken? Oh
sure, I know the Mordenkainen spells are named
differently, but I thought that was it...
