I've given this a lot of thought. This is not the only way to do it,
and for anyone who wants to produce binary-only software, it won't work.
Remove all traces of the Wizards (and third party) trademarks from your
web site and the software. Market it as "Character Creation Software
for the World's Most Popular Fantasy Roleplaying Game" or something
similar. That gets you out from under the problems of the d20 System
Trademark License.
Second, provide the complete source code of your software to each user,
licensing the source using the General Public License
(http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt). In addition, define the whole
work as "Open Game Content", and license it >as well< with the OGL.
Figuring out how to build a business model is an excersize left to the
reader.
