Just for the record I was quoting Ryan, that wasn't my idea.

That sort of stuff is why I gave up on the idea of d20 software other than 
server side scripts, which are _not_ being distributed, just used to make 
d20 "data".   That, IIRC, is ok, in that it's not the software that's being 
distributed, but the OGC that is.
