Its not taken as a slam at all. In order for us to better understand how to use the license we have to talk about mistakes. I've certainly made my share of them. So I take discussion of mistakes as a chance to improve not as an attack. You are right. It should be "Reference". But all you need to add in your product is our copyright information. I cant imagine that you need to put the SRD info in twice. I know the license can be read to imply that, but I just dont see that as necessary.
