I'm not a publisher, but when I first saw the OGL articles and heard
about WoTC opening up the under pinning of 3rd Edition, I thought this
was a great thing. Obviously the OGL is a good thing for publishers; you
guys get to make money off of it. For us hobbyists out here, we can
finally put material out there that is legitimized by WoTC. My biggest
fear here is that some of the terms of the license are hard to
understand and some of the fans out there could still wind up in hot
water if they aren't careful. It's a big step forward though.
