March 17, 2002: The Free Gaming Association becomes a reality!

The Free Gaming Association is a non-profit corporation that promotes Open
Gaming and provides support to the Open Gaming Community and to publishers
producing Open Gaming Products.

Publishers can proudly display the OpenDie [tm] Logo, represented by a d6
with an open top, to indicate that their products have been released under
an Open Gaming License and to show that they support Open Gaming. Publisher
and Community web sites also display the OpenDie [tm] Logo to show their
support for Open Gaming.

The Prometheus [tm] Gaming System is a free, 100% Open, modular roleplaying
game system based on the same rules as the 3rd Edition of the world's best
selling RPG. The core rules of the Prometheus Gaming System are suitable for
use with any genre.

The Prometheus Compatibility Logo, represented as a Gear with a flame in the
center, is used to indicate that a product is compatible with the Prometheus
[tm] Gaming System or provides detailed conversion notes to and or from the
Prometheus [tm] Gaming System.

The Free Gaming Association's Board of Directors is as follows:

Managing Director: Michael Cortez
Director of Marketing and Communications: Christina Stiles
Director of Systems Development: Tom Caudron
Director of Operations and Research: Robert Lowry
Director of Publisher Relations: Doug Meerschaert

The FGA is looking for volunteers to work on the Prometheus [tm] Gaming
System and the Conlectio Beastia, which entails writing OGC descriptions for
all the creatures in the SRD. If you would like to help with these
projects, please contact Tom Caudron at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The FGA is also needs OGC creature illustrations.

Thank you.
