March 17, 2002: The Free Gaming Association becomes a reality! The Free Gaming Association is a non-profit corporation that promotes Open Gaming and provides support to the Open Gaming Community and to publishers producing Open Gaming Products. Publishers can proudly display the OpenDie [tm] Logo, represented by a d6 with an open top, to indicate that their products have been released under an Open Gaming License and to show that they support Open Gaming. Publisher and Community web sites also display the OpenDie [tm] Logo to show their support for Open Gaming. The Prometheus [tm] Gaming System is a free, 100% Open, modular roleplaying game system based on the same rules as the 3rd Edition of the world's best selling RPG. The core rules of the Prometheus Gaming System are suitable for use with any genre. The Prometheus Compatibility Logo, represented as a Gear with a flame in the center, is used to indicate that a product is compatible with the Prometheus [tm] Gaming System or provides detailed conversion notes to and or from the Prometheus [tm] Gaming System.
