My wife uses Weight Watchers, and I can speak on what this thing is
(although I'm going from memory as I don't have it in front of me).  Its a
slide rule.  You find out how many fiber grams are in a service, then slide
the cardboard until you hit the # of calories in the serving.  Then you
find the corresponding fat grams in the serving and read off the # of
points that serving has.  I'm pretty sure that's the order.   I know that
fiber grams, fat grams and calories are needed to use the slide rule.

Sight unseen, I suspect that Weight Watchers would have a tough time
asserting a copyright on such a system transposed to caloric intakes.
