Okay, I'm crossing all my t's and dotting all my i's and discovered the following:
In the FAQs and on the System Reference Document webpage, the SRD is
referred to as the "System Reference Document." (That's what I've seen
it called just about everywhere.)
In the "Legal Information" file (srdlegal.rtf) the Open Game License
copyright notice reads:
System Rules Document Copyright 2000, Wizards of the Coast, Inc.;
Authors Jonathan Tweet, Monte Cook, Skip Williams, based on original
material by E. Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.
Is this a typo in the Legal Information file? I've seen the SRD
copyrights listed as "System Reference Document...." in d20 products
already published....
But if I'm to follow the letter of the OGL I should keep the copyright
notice intact ("System Rules Document" rather than "System Reference Document")....
Best regards,
