Purely hypothetically, could it be considered worthwhile or even
feasible to create similar but generic OGC names to place these spells
back in the "correct" alphabetical order?

In other words, Tenser's Transformation is no good. What if the D20
community widely substituted Terse's Transformation? Leonard's Tiny Hut?
Draftage's Instant Summons? Biggle's Grasping Hand?

The names would still be "wrong," but would be close enough so that when
the reader looked them up in the PHB, they'd land on the "real" name.
