worth raising, is that we are by no means anti-OGC. In fact, I have a
feeling that we are not only the biggest users of OGC (with the Ultimate
series) but that we have produced more _new_ OGC than any other publisher.

I don't think I, for one, have commented on how much you contribute or don't contribute. To some degree, that's not relevant. It's how clear the OGC declaration is. That's exogenous of how nice or generous you may be. I think everyone appreciates a generous colleague. But I think we all like not having to scratch our heads when studying the OGC declarations of our colleagues too.
I personally have no stake in the Netbook case. Fundamentally that's between you and Fancc.
But asking that you have somebody on staff who doublechecks your OGC/PI declarations and your section 15... heck, that benefits anybody who buys your products looking for OGC material.
